A folding ruler, also known as a carpenter's ruler or mason's ruler, folds or otherwise collapses, so that it is generally between six and eight inches long when folded, and can be kept in a pocket
This is Stanley No. 36 1/2 R right handed boxwood folding caliper rule.  It is a one foot (12”), two fold model which is 1 3/8 inch wide. In excellent condition, easy to read, and pin in place.
The Pioneer #3503 Precision Rule is two sided the 6” rule is easy to read; the decimal equivalent side needs a little cleaning.
