This is a Ready to Run Expert Built R/C car. The product is a result of Tamiya's expert builders assembling the kit at Tamiya's factory. Each kit is hand built, painted and finished so the user may enjoy Radio Control action right out of the box.
All you need is 2-AA batteries for the controller and your choice of battery pack and charger (sold separately).  Please make sure to purchase a battery of Ni-Cd BATTERY 7.2V for R/C or Ni-HM BATTERY 7.2V for R/C or LF BATTERY 6.6V for R/C.
This item includes a wheel-type transmitter. The 2.4GHz transmitter eliminates the need for frequency crystals, and is factory-paired with the receiver in the model to ensure that the receiver communicates with that transmitter only.

This is the 1/10 scale, radio controlled, electric powered, ready to run Tamiya Kumamon Version Dune Buggy in Red. The popular Japanese mascot Kumamon has found his way onto the ready-to-run and factory finished DT-02 dune buggy chassis.  For ages 14 and above From Tamiya's XB Pro Expert Built Series Kumamon is a character used to publicize the Japanese Prefecture of Kumamoto in Kyushu, an island in south Japan.
